These include government control of the economy; the role of the private sector; the purposes of government regulation; fiscal and monetary policy; the role of the Constitution in the economy; government initiatives; government-supported research and development; the acquisition and allocation of federal taxes; balanced budgets; the citizen’s role in the economy; democracy and a market economy; nationalism; economic inequality; and employment.
