iCivics is a fantastic website with a variety of games students can play to learn more about our government.  It is targeted more toward middle school students, but can be used at the high school level as well.  

A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing practical, participatory education about law, democracy, and human rights. This site is an excellent resource for AP Government, Government, and Law and includes lessons about the history of the Supreme Court, current court, nominating federal judges, moot court lessons with current cases, and many links to other Supreme Court websites. Be sure to check out information on their U.S. Supreme Court Institute for Teachers.

I think that Flocabulary is an excellent resource.  It presents vocabulary and more compex ideas in a school friendly rap. You can use it as a hook or as a mid-lesson wake them up (especially in a 90 minute class).  It has excellent ancillaries.  I've also used it for tutorials after school and on Saturdays. It has a free trial period, but the monthly cost is reasonable.

From time to time we teach a lesson that uses a dollar amount (tax in Colonial America, poll tax, pay ect.) most of my students scoff at the low amount. I find it helpful to "translate" it into current year dollars. While the inflation data is fairly confident after the depression there are some models that try to calculate purchasing power as far back as 1776. I've included the site below. Hopefully, you will be able to help your students understand the impact of these things in current dollars.

A way technology can be integrated is by using Quizlet live to review before a test. What i like about this "quiz" site is that it places the participants in groups and the answers to the questions are spread through out their devices. Therefore, it forces the students to work together and discuss the question.
