Hi guys, I have jury duty this week! When I mentioned this to my teacher colleagues I got a lot of moans and groans. Really? This coming from educators really did surprise me. How do we expect the general population to respect the idea of civic responsibility, when educators respond this way? Jury duty is part of rights and responsibilities of all citizens. Does anyone have any great ideas or lesson to get that message across to our students or the general public. We need to change our attitude about serving on juries.
